Who we are
NontargetPrep (nontargetprep.com) is an independent interview-preparation and mentorship service that matches candidates with practicing finance professionals for anonymous practice conversations and feedback.
What we collect
- Application information you submit: name, contact details, education and work background, target firms and groups, your written answers, and your resume (PDF).
- Technical information: IP address, browser user-agent, and — where advertising or analytics tags are active — cookie-based identifiers and campaign parameters (e.g. which ad brought you here).
How we use it
- To review your application, decide fit, and arrange a mentor match.
- To share relevant context — including your resume — with a prospective mentor, solely so they can prepare your session.
- To contact you about your application, match options, and scheduling.
- To measure advertising performance in aggregate.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where your data lives
Applications are transmitted over HTTPS to our intake system and delivered to our review inbox. Resume files are removed from the public-facing web server after delivery; application records are retained only as long as needed to operate the service. Draft answers you type before submitting are stored only in your own browser and never reach us until you submit.
Advertising & analytics
We may use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta advertising tags. These set cookies to attribute visits and applications to campaigns. You can limit ad personalization through your Google and Meta account settings and your browser’s cookie controls.
Your choices
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@nontargetprep.com. If you ask us to delete your application, we will, unless we need a minimal record to honor an existing booking.
Age
Our service is intended for college students and working professionals. It is not directed to anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
